The delightful, charming, laid-back and sweet ‘Toivea’ with her first litter, sired by Nero di Masaal. ‘Toivea’ is Finnish for ‘Brave’ - and we expect the puppies to great warriors for the Swashbuckle family.

Nero is our striking boy out of River and Helen. Wonderful conformation, amazing coat - deep black and coarse, moves beautifully and attracts attention wherever he goes. We are grateful to Stefania Bozzoli and Sabina Favaro for allowing us to begin a ‘show-line’ of outstanding Black Standard Schnauzers in Australia.

The beautiful Lara - with the most astonishingly ‘clear’ and coarse Pepper/Salt coat - is from Doenitz kennels, our dear friend Shelley Hancox.
Lara’s father is ‘Nichi Stradivarius’, an amazing Italian Schnauzer via Miccosukees in the UK, and Shelley’s wonderful ‘I Tonya’ as mother.

Patsy is retired, with an amazing family all to herself. Thank you Michelle and Ron! Patsy is now retired from the show ring, and very, very happy to have her own very special family.

The sire of our wonderful ‘Nero’ is the stunning ‘Masaal Zambesi Black River’, shown around Europe, winning World Junior Champion, World Champion Schnauzer and World Champion Veteran, one of the world’s best Black Standard Schnauzer. We were blessed by Sabina Favaro and Stefania Bozzoli with the opportunity for ‘River’ to join our program. We are eternally grateful.

This is Helen as a puppy - from our first litter by our ‘Otis Boanergos Esenia’ (imported from Ukraine at great expense!) Helen is sweet, calm and gentle, with a lovely deep black coat. Helen is now a vital contributor in our pedigree program and has produced outstanding black boys and girls.

‘Kerta’ was our first show boy from our Ukrainian import, Otis Boanergos Esenia, and is stunningly handsome - as well as incredibly friendly, cheeky and charming. Now retired from the show-ring and living life as a ‘tradie dog’ - second-in-charge to a landscape architect - Kerta continues to make a strong contribution to our breeding program.

Audrey was from our very first litter in 2014. Audrey was our first show entry to the Sydney Royal Easter Show where she wowed the judges with a wonderful Pepper/Salt coat and beautiful movement. Audrey is now living in retirement at Bundanoon, in the Southern Highlands with our friend Roslyn. Audrey has her own water-bowl at the local cafe.

Xena was our introduction to Black Schnauzers and our first Black girl. Xena flowed around the showring with elegance and grace. Xena is retired from the show-ring and our program, but always in our hearts.
Xena has her own very special family near the beach at Manly, Sydney and is the Princess of all she surveys.

Our very first show Schnauzer, Wittmor Prima Bima is sadly no longer with us. ‘Bima’ introduced us to the showring, and we learnt to hand-strip and care for the outstanding Schnauzer coat, one of the real breed highlights. We miss Bima every day still - he was calm, friendly and the most amazing companion to us and his beloved Labrador brother, Snowy. Both deeply missed.

Our first girl, Wittmor Tegan Thundercloud gave us our start to breeding and was the early foundation for Swashbuckle Schnauzers. Feisty, independent yet loyal and considerate of all people and dogs around her, Tegan was a ‘one-of-a-kind’ - but all Schnauzers are!

Our wonderful ‘Mitsi’, Grosssbotwar Nothin Like a Dame, has recently retired and is now living with her own wonderful family near the beach on the Mornington Peninsula. Mitsi delivered outstanding litters and amazing puppies, and thoroughly deserves a gentle retirement where she is the centre of attention and deeply loved.

The majestic ‘Cash’ - Masaal Firebrand - is sire to the first litter from our Lara, Doenitz Larissa Antipova.

We expect an amazing future for all of these puppies, both in the show-ring and with great families.
